Thanks to his passion for cycling, Mario founded ZANCHETTA, with its handmade production of accessories for bikes.

1975

Gregorio continues his father’s commitment by developing new design ideas, focusing on carriers and making the company a reference point on a national level.

2008

Andrea takes the helm of the company; he inherits the dexterity from the grandfather Mario, and from the father Gregorio the passion and the creative ideas that develops with the help of new technologies in 3D.

2017

Delocalization of production in Albania (Vlore) with an investment by UNIONMETAL which modernized production plants. The Albanian workforce is continuously monitored and trained by qualified Italian technicians who are constantly present on site.

UnionMetal has a modern facility of about 1500 sq. m, full completely equipped for the production of accessories for bicycles in medium and large scale, with particular reference on front and rear carriers produce in steel or alloy. The company realized tailor-made design, arrange the production, commercialize and distribute their items on international level.

The factory is located in Albania, by the city of Vlore and employ local expert people, supervised by technical and specialized Italian managers. All the production process are verified till the last phase before the packaging and the delivery. UnionMetal is an up to date company, thanks to the continuous innovation and research. UnionMetal pay specific attention to the quality, to the regulations in force using regular tests and quality controls on products.
